Priscilla Ojo Addresses Father’s Absence at Her Wedding

 

Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has responded to the controversy trailing her father, Ademidun Ojo’s absence at her wedding.

The socialite and businesswoman got married to Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, in an Islamic ceremony on Friday in Tanzania. But while the wedding was a grand affair, many could not overlook the fact that her father was nowhere to be seen.

His absence set social media on fire, with speculations flying around that there was tension between father and daughter. Some even accused Priscilla of intentionally excluding him from her big day.

The whispers of a long-standing rift between Ademidun and his ex-wife, Iyabo, only made the talks louder.

Reacting to the backlash, Priscilla took to her Snapchat on Sunday evening, posting a screenshot of a video call with her father. Without saying much, the move seemed like her way of shutting down the negative talks.

While the actress’ daughter has chosen not to reveal much about their relationship, many recall that in 2023, Iyabo Ojo, during a chat with Toke Makinwa, spoke about her past with Ademidun.

She described their marriage as her first taste of hardship.
